CicaRelief Serum by Real Barrier

I've enjoyed using the CicaRelief Serum by Real Barrier. Centella asiatica (shortened is Cica) is an herb native to some parts of Asia and Africa. It is also known as Gotu Kola, Indian Pennywort and Tiger Grass. Interestingly, tigers rub this plant on their wounds to help their skin regenerate. The leafy green herb has been used for centuries to treat wounds. Researchers found that Centella Asiatica extract is used in the healing of incisions and burns. There are many amino acids and vitamins in Centella Asiatica (including beta-carotene, fatty acids, and phytochemicals, including vitamins C, A, B1, and B2). Together they can help stimulate collagen production. 50% of this product is Centella Asiatica. Additional ingredients: Madecassoside, Allantoin and Panthenol, which assist in calming skin irritation. Hyaluronic Acid, which attracts moisture to the skin. It has calming Calamine in it. It has patented Ceramide 3 in it (for long lasting hydration). The product is dermatologist tested and free from 20 ingredients known to be harmful to the skin. I read that you want to look for a product to be left on the skin with Cica in it, not washed off. This product accomplishes that. The packaging is attractive and love the pink color of the serum. It has an almost imperceptible baby powder smell. I love the pump top, which is different from other squeeze bottle serums. It pulls the serum into it and then releases it with a button. Genius! I’ve enjoyed using the Kate Somerville Daily Deflector Mineral Sunscreen with SPF 40. It has a 100% Mineral formula. It has a super light feel to it. It is not slimy or greasy, like many sunscreens. It is unscented. It has a fancy tilted triangular pump top. I like that it is broad spectrum (including protection from blue light). It hydrates, protects against free radical damage from the sun and is water resistant for 80 minutes! Wow! It has a ceramide complex which strengthens the skin barrier, Vitamin E which provides antioxidant benefits, 17% Non-Nano Zinc Oxide which acts as a physical sunscreen against sun damage, Tasmannia Lanceolata Leaf Extract which reduces redness by calming the skin and Ectoin which provides protection against pollution induced skin damage. It has a high rating of PA++++ meaning it offers a high amount of UVA and UVB protection. I appreciate that it is: Paraben-free, sulfate-free and phthalate-free. It is safe for sensitive skin. I love the Sol de Janeiro Mini Bom Dia Bright Body Cream. There are two qualities about this cream that I love. It is so moisturizing and smells great! Even my husband said he noticed more of a difference with this product, compared to other creams that I’ve put on his dry hands. The smell is glorious! I love it! I’m a fan of Jasmine and Vanilla. I’d wear the cream just for the scent! I am super excited about taking this product into summer. I appreciate that the product helps with dryness, has vitamin C in it, helps with dark spots, helps with uneven texture and has AHA/Glycolic Acid in it. I will put it on my legs every day. My hands smell great after using it too! Would recommend!
