CicaRelief Serum by Real Barrier

I've enjoyed using the CicaRelief Serum by Real Barrier. Centella asiatica (shortened is Cica) is an herb native to some parts of Asia and Africa. It is also known as Gotu Kola, Indian Pennywort and Tiger Grass. Interestingly, tigers rub this plant on their wounds to help their skin regenerate. The leafy green herb has been used for centuries to treat wounds. Researchers found that Centella Asiatica extract is used in the healing of incisions and burns. There are many amino acids and vitamins in Centella Asiatica (including beta-carotene, fatty acids, and phytochemicals, including vitamins C, A, B1, and B2). Together they can help stimulate collagen production. 50% of this product is Centella Asiatica. Additional ingredients: Madecassoside, Allantoin and Panthenol, which assist in calming skin irritation. Hyaluronic Acid, which attracts moisture to the skin. It has calming Calamine in it. It has patented Ceramide 3 in it (for long lasting hydration). The product is dermatologist tested and free from 20 ingredients known to be harmful to the skin. I read that you want to look for a product to be left on the skin with Cica in it, not washed off. This product accomplishes that. The packaging is attractive and love the pink color of the serum. It has an almost imperceptible baby powder smell. I love the pump top, which is different from other squeeze bottle serums. It pulls the serum into it and then releases it with a button. Genius! Eve Lom Rescue Mask

I’ve enjoyed using the Eve Lom Rescue Mask. This dermatologically tested product claims to keep skin hydrated 72 hours after use. I’d say this is true from my experience using it. Ingredients include: Kaolin Clay which absorbs oil and reduces puffiness, camphor which cools and decongests, ground almonds to exfoliate and honey to condition. My skin felt very hydrated and invigorated after use. It has a clean, astringent smell to it. Maybe that’s the camphor smell? It made my skin soft and smooth. It’s very luxurious. It’s safe for all skin types. I would recommend this mask.

Alterna Nourishing Masque, Repair Booster & Shine Booster

I was able to use it twice and it really smoothed out my hair and the difference was something I could feel in my hair’s texture in and out of the shower. I like that it’s a vegan formula.
